John Bartee
John grew up in Dayton, Texas and graduated from the University of Dallas in 2021 with a degree in psychology and Spanish. He served his first year as a FOCUS missionary at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is excited to serve at NYU for his second year on mission. John loves traveling in Alaska and hopes to move there one day!
Emily Carroll
Emily is from Wichita Falls, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Psychology. She has served the past four years as a FOCUS missionary in Maryland. She loves dancing, rock climbing and discovering new coffee shops to try with friends!
Noah Boehm
Noah is from Zionsville, Indiana and studied Musical Theatre at the University of Northern Colorado. This is Noah’s first year as a FOCUS missionary, and he looks forward to sharing the gospel at NYU! Noah nearly chopped his finger off in a battle with an avocado, but the toast was still good!
Isabella Padilla
Isabella is from Palm Beach, Florida and graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in International Affairs. It is Isabella’s first year as a FOCUS missionary, and she is excited to see the beautiful ways in which the Lord is working at NYU. Isabella’s favorite thing to do is travel, as she loves to explore new cultures, cities, and foods.
Ranita Muriel
Ranita grew up in Shelton, Connecticut and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2022 with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She served her first year as a FOCUS missionary at the Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY. Ranita loves baking and enjoying the squirrels and flowers in peaceful parks.
